Memorial.

As is always expected the memorial was a great success this year. We had 77 in attendance at our own, which was a very good result, especially since we had the later of the 2 held in our Kingdom hall. It began at 8pm which is quite late and many don’t like venturing out at night. The Swahili congregation that shares our hall had 168 in attendance.

But out of all the experiences we have heard thus far the most encouraging has to be from one of the 2 English congregations in Dar es Salaam. During the tract campaign the brothers visited a school and invited them all to attend. Much to their surprise 77 students arrived in full uniform! They were all 18 years old! The congregation only has 35 publishers and the total attendance was 211. The brother’s courage was certainly rewarded.
